The Milk Stop is a family run farm with myself (Chris), Suzie and our son Harry. My grandfather moved to the farm in 1942 and we are the 3rd generation of Waterfalls to farm the Beeches Farm as a part of the Seighford settled estate. 

 

We diversified into water buffalo in 2011 as an opportunity to supply a niche market and escape the tightening grip of large scale commercial dairy processors. As as small dairy farm it was very difficult to grow to a scale needed to produce milk profitably for the large processors. 

 

We have decided to supply fresh local and sustainable milk to the local communities with an eye to low food miles, reusable packaging and bare minimum processing, only gently pasteurising the milk before sale.
